Smart TimecardFor the door

Clock in by showing up.

A tablet by the entrance becomes the attendance terminal. Staff check in by face — no cards to lose, no shared PIN, and the hours flow straight into ECOM Workforce.

  • Face check-inRecognition runs on the device. Staff look at the tablet and are clocked in.
  • Set up onceA manager signs in with the shop’s Business ID and the tablet becomes that shop’s terminal.
  • Feeds the timesheetEvery punch lands in the same weekly sheet payroll is calculated from.
  • Locked to the shopThe terminal is bound to one shop, and only an owner or manager can re-bind it.
Smart Timecard — Binding a tablet
Binding a tablet. Business ID plus a manager or owner account binds the attendance terminal to the correct shop.

A day with it

  1. Once, at setup

A manager signs in with the shop’s eight-digit Business ID. From then on the tablet belongs to that shop.

  2. Every morning

Staff look at the tablet on the way in. No card to lose, no PIN to share, no queue at the office door.

  3. All day

Each punch lands in the same weekly timesheet that payroll is calculated from — nobody copies a number.

  4. If the tablet moves

Re-binding needs an owner or manager account. A member of staff cannot point the terminal at another shop.

What you need

  • An Android tabletThe screens on this page were photographed on a 12-inch tablet. A phone works for lighter use.
  • An account per appEach app signs in on its own. Several can share one tablet — they do not fight over a session.
  • Your shop’s contractWhich apps open is decided by the services your shop subscribes to, not by the device.

Questions we get

Do we need a tablet for each app?

No. Each app signs in separately, so one tablet can run several — a front desk tablet can hold ECOM Beauty and ECOM Workforce at once. The attendance terminal is the exception: it is bound to one shop and usually lives by the door.

Who decides which apps we can open?

Your shop’s contract does. The server works out which apps a sign-in may open from the services your shop subscribes to — the device has no say in it.

Can we start with just one app?

Yes. Shops commonly run one core app plus staff hours. You can add the others later without moving your data.

What languages do the apps speak?

English, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese and Chinese. Each person picks their own language in Settings — it does not change anyone else’s screen.
